Assembly Bill 505 will make Nevada's housing crisis even worse. It proposes many of the same failed policies that created our housing shortage in the first place.

More than 8 in 10 Nevada households can’t afford the median price of a new home. Over 7 in 10 African-American households are cost-burdened, and since 2018, average rents have risen by over 55% in Clark County and 46.5% in Washoe County. This ongoing affordability crisis is impacting everyone in the state.

Assembly Bill 505 eliminates key reforms that helped restore integrity to Nevada's construction defect system, protect consumers, and revitalize for-sale attached housing. As housing affordability worsens, now is the time to build on these reforms, not reverse them!
